about_us
All of us at InTouch Travel feel deeply that personal contacts are a vital part of travel, and a crucial to ingredient in international understanding. We hope that our programs will appeal to culturally curious travelers who want to add that personal touch to their vacation.

Andrea Nims is the founder and director of InTouch Travel. Born and raised in Germany, she earned a Master's degree in International Business. For 13 years she lived full-time in the Seattle area with her American-born husband; they added an office in northern Germany in 2006. Andrea's experience in luxury tourism led her to create a company bringing independent travelers closer to English-speaking local people with similar interests. Since the company's launch in 2005, over 75 talented, outgoing hosts (writers, artists, teachers, consultants, agents, historians) eager to welcome InTouch visitors as honored guests.

Ronald Holden is the editorial director of InTouch Travel. As an international journalist, he places the highest importance on successful personal relationships. A journalist and freelance writer, he specializes in food, wine and travel. He chronicles his gastronomic adventures at www.cornichon.org

Paris-based Josef Schomburg keeps the InTouch Travel website up to date. A Canadian-born photographer, he has explored every corner of the city with an expat's enthusiasm, an artist's eye and a passion for detail; He's planning a monumental project: to create a multi-media, photographic record of every bit of the city's history through the city-wide www.Paris-Promenades.com.

Colleen Lynn designed the original website for InTouch Travel. An adventurous traveler herself, she operates a design firm, VainNotion, and comments frequently on web-related design issues.
